Join Our Team

Due to continued growth, we are looking at recruiting to boost our fitting, workshop and design teams.

Fitrite Wardrobes specialise in fitted furniture with more than 30 years experience in creating bespoke bedrooms and home offices in Leamington and the surrounding area.

To ensure our clients always receive the very best service we need quality driven people who are passionate and determined to deliver the highest standards. Experience in furniture design, skills in carpentry and joinery would be desirable but on the job training will be given.

Reliability and flexibility is essential. Day to day tasks are never quite the same so adaptability and a can do attitude is important.

Workshop Operative

Based in the workshop in Sydenham, Leamington Spa assisting in the manufacture of sliding doors, preparing panels for the construction of interiors and chests. Manual handling and general workshop maintenance responsibilities. No experience necessary but desirable. This job pays hourly, rate depending on existing skills, and hours can vary to some extent to suit the individual.

Fitter

Working in our customers’ homes, fitting our bespoke furniture to exacting standards. We would provide confidence and training for someone with general DIY skills looking to learn a trade. Alternatively, we are always on the lookout for carpenters/joiners experienced with tools and skilled in scribing, cutting & hanging cabinet doors. Standard and over time paid as daily hours can vary. The right applicant will be reliable with a can-do attitude and an asset to the company representing Fitrite in people’s homes.

Designer

The first contact Fitrite has with people in their homes is vitally important. Our designers are confident, knowledgeable, personable and relaxed.  Visiting the home to measure up space and listening to our customers’ requirements. The appointments are pre booked within a 30mile radius of Leamington. After the initial visit, responsibilities include creating and drawing out the customer’s bespoke design and preparing a quotation. Accuracy is key as is an understanding of wardrobe and office furniture construction. Previous experience working in the home/bedroom furniture sector would be desirable. This role is paid hourly with additional commission on sales.

Saturday showroom manager

New and current customers are talked through the displays in the showroom relevant to their requirements. Customers take this opportunity to choose colours, finishes, door styles etc and occasionally make minor change to existing designs before hopefully placing an order.

Visitors are pre booked in hourly slots between 10am and 4pm. Role also includes completing paperwork, phone call handling and processing payments.

The right candidate will be key holders responsible for opening and shutting up. They will be shadowed for several weeks while learning the ropes but eventually this job is unsupervised.
